He plans to hike for 3,000 miles along the Continental Divide Trail from Canada to Mexico – across some wilderness which will offer some stunning scenery but which could also bring him face to face with brown bears, mountain lions and wolves!

In 2005 year he almost made it but following the death of a friend from a heart attack 500 metres from the top - he had to make his way down with the Sherpa party leaving his friend on the mountain.

The Hilton Foundation has awarded CHASE a grant of £6675.75 which paid for an increase in the hours of our Music Therapist for a year. As a direct result of this CHASE was able to support an additional two children with long term music therapy and to hold a series of Music Workshops facilitated by musicians from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
