Volunteering

Volunteering is all about giving a very valuable commodity – your time! And in return having some fun and learning new skills.

Being a volunteer for CHASE is fun, interesting and creative. Everyone has their own special skills so the experience you have gained in other walks of life can help us here at CHASE.

Volunteering is not all hard work. It can be sociable and fun!

As a volunteer for CHASE you could help with a variety of admin tasks at our Fundraising Office at Loseley Park, give practical, hands-on help at our hospice Christopher’s, help out at fundraising events, give talks to raise our profile or work on special projects.

Ad hoc volunteers

From time to time we call for volunteers to represent us at events such a spring fairs, garden shows or charity golf days. We also require volunteers to speak about CHASE at schools and clubs.

How much time do I have to give?

Most volunteers commit to a regular half-day. However, we try to be as flexible as possible allowing volunteers to work weekends, term-time only, holidays only, ad hoc etc.

What do I do if I want to become a volunteer?

You need to be 16 year of age
You need to complete a volunteer application form.

Then:
We will invite you in for an informal chat
You need to obtain a CRB (police) clearance (we will do this for you)
You need to attend a volunteer induction day
