Recycling is a valuable source of income for CHASE. It is an easy way to help CHASE in its support of families with life-limited children.
At the same time, you'll be doing your bit to limit the harmful effect on the environment caused by dumping these products.
We are working with The Empty Cartridge Company to recycle both empty inkjet cartridges and mobile phones.
For more information please contact CHASE on 01483 454213 or ian.davies@chasecare.org.uk.
Empty Cartridge Ltd. will pay CHASE for old cartridges you donate when you participate in this free-of-charge fundraising scheme. Inkjet cartridges are most valuable - these are the ones that fit in the palm of your hand!
It doesn't cost you anything to help CHASE hospice care for children in this way!
We can also provide free-of-charge flat-pack boxes for you to store your old cartridges and phones until collection. Collections are free-of-charge but we now require 20 - 30 cartridges or more per collection due the cost of collection and Environment Agency fees. Alternatively you can drop your cartridges off at the CHASE Fundraising Office (directions here)
To request flat pack box email ian.davies@chasecare.org.uk
Every year tens of millions of inkjet and toner cartridges are thrown away, despite the damage these products can inflict on our environment when left to rot in landfill sites. These products can be recycled and provide a valuable source of income to CHASE.
We cannot landfill forever and we don't need to. With your support we can help our planet and our children to secure a better and safer future.
If you are already recycling for CHASE you can also download a poster to show you are supporting us in this important way.
If your company, school, club or organisation can help, please call CHASE on 01483 447756 or email ian.davies@chasecare.org.uk
Today there are an estimated 100 million phones which are unwanted and out of use. There are now more mobile phones in Britain than people!
These discarded mobile phones can be recycled through Empty Cartridge Ltd. who pay CHASE an amount for each phone based on its value.
Recycling these phones is very important for it helps to limit the harmful impact these phones have on the environment when they are thrown away. Cadium from just one mobile phone battery can seriously contaminate up to 600,000 litres of water!
No matter how battered or old they are, this can also be a valuable way of helping the children and families who are supported by CHASE hospice care for children!
