    A trip by private jet to EuroDisney. Bringing donkey rides from the beach to our grounds for children who can’t get out. An innovative way for a child to go swimming – despite their tracheotomy. There are so many inspiring stories we have to tell about our work with children who have life-limiting conditions. Then there’s our amazing fundraising tales. You’ll use these and more to increase income and create marketing that gets us noticed nationally and locally.
    You’ll help us achieve our aim to double service capacity by 2015 by exploring and developing a strong, coherent direct marketing and communications strategy. A strategy which unites our strengths and delivers a clear message: to families who rely on our support, to supporters, volunteers and staff, and to the media. To do this well, you’ll be in regular contact with all of these groups.
    It goes without saying you’ll come from an impressive marketing background, with good knowledge of maximising all communication channels. But equally important is your experience of fundraising DM – in fact, it’s critical. You’ll also be creative and inquisitive, with a genuine interest in our work and the passion to promote it.
    For this post you will be expected to:
    Develop, implement and manage the direct marketing fundraising programme; legacy marketing; gifts in memory and trading activities to meet annual income targets and to ensure increased income and sustainable revenue streams.
    Lead the strategic development and management of CHASE marketing, PR and communications and building strong external relationships and partnerships.
    Manage database marketing analysis to support fundraising development and review.

    Salary range:  £15 - £23k

    Hours:  Full time 37.5 hours per week

    Working predominantly at our beautiful children’s hospice, Christopher’s, you’ll need some experience of working with children, disabled children or young people.  You’ll face caring challenges unlike many others, so you’ll need the flexibility to work different days and nights. Weekends and holidays are our busiest times. Yet whatever time of day it is, our care teams have one thing in mind: making life fun.

    Salary range:  £24 - £33k

    Hours:  Full time 37.5 hours per week

    You’re looking after children with life-limiting conditions so your clinical skills will be vital and fully utilised.  But, what if a child wants to ride a donkey and the nearest beach is 50 miles away.  If you’re as open and resourceful as our nurses, you’ll make it happen by bringing the donkey to our hospice. As the children we care for don’t have much time, we give our nurses all the time they need to make the seemingly impossible, possible.
